Hideaki Akaiwa: A Modern Day Hero

During the devastating tsunami in Japan earlier this month,┬áHideaki Akaiwa put on his scuba gear and dived into waters to save his wife’s life.

“”The water felt very cold, dark and scary,” he recalled. “I had to swim about 200 yards to her, which was quite difficult with all the floating wreckage.”
